Due to their natural origin, gemstones may vary slightly in size, shape or color. These subtle variations encapsulate the beauty of these naturally occurring components. All stones are unique from cut and clarity and each piece is handmade to order.
STERLING SILVER
925 sterling silver is durable and timeless. Sterling silver can tarnish if not stored properly — keep it away from moisture and use a jewelry polishing cloth to restore it to its original shine.
GOLD
14K Gold filled is a process by which a thick coating of 14k gold is pressure bonded onto quality brass. It is durable and will not flake off. It has a considerable amount more gold than a flash plated gold which can rub off. 14K gold filled can be polished if tarnish does occur.
Tips for wear
The style of jewelry is minimal and delicate. We don’t recommend wearing any of the pieces for sports, swimming, showering, gardening, sleeping or cleaning. Sunscreen and perfume should not be applied directly on the jewelry. While made from quality materials they are delicate and still need to be protected from the possibility of pulling or tearing.
Repair Policy
For pieces purchased within the one year warranty, repairs will be free of charge. For pieces outside of the warranty, the repair fee is $25. Additional fees may be added if valuable components are determined to be missing from the piece.
Send a picture to info@orchardstdesign.com and include a description of the damage.
Unfortunately, tarnished jewelry is not eligible for repair. Tarnishing is considered natural wear for jewelry.
